The summer farm camps were a great success, despite the heat. Children learned about horse care and basic equitation, animal chore routines and other exciting things. They took walks in the woods, swam with the frogs in the pond and of course enjoyed the rope swing in the black walnut tree.
We thank everyone that attended the camps and look forward to next summer.
As always, we continue to appreciate the numerous people that are so willing to volunteer their time to help keep the farm running. We always welcome any new people interested in volunteering. Please come by and talk to Ruth or Derek about opportunities to join the ranks of other folks who help out on our farm.
